   This is a great hole in the wall if you know what I mean! A "hole in the wall" is not a bad thing, so please dont take it that way!! This is the first bar/lounge/club that I have went to in LA that has awesome food!! I'm a Southern Lady and I love good fried catfish and fried chicken and this place has both!! The drinks are great, made just right! Great music and great people! If you havent been to this place its worth a try!! I have to admit the menu is a little pricey and its a very small place, but this is a place I would go to every blue moon. Please get there early because the place will become standing room only pretty fast!! One perk....theres never a cover! Oh and they do have happy hour!!

Cafe Entourage (Hollywood, CA)

Cafe Entourage is a fairly new place in Hollywood. Great food and service with a smile. Its really a cute place. I love the purple, silver and black decor. They also have a roof top area. I went here during the week for lunch and I was impressed. It was pretty quiet and low key. So me and my friend arrived pretty late in the afternoon and was happy to find out that we made it just in time for the lunch specials!! They had a $10 Lunch menu which had some pretty good options. When I ordered I was affraid that they would bring out some little bitty food portions, but I was wrong!! The portions were more than enough. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. It was pretty tasty (a little salty but I like salt:)). So I will be going back soon!! Btw they have Brunch on Sundays

Piano Bar: Hollywood, California

Lets go out to the Piano Bar!! This is such a nice, cool, and hip place to be!! When you walk into the place you feel like you just walked into a bar that's really in New York!! Its truly a treat! The live music and the affordable cocktails are to die for!! I was so impressed!! This place is in Hollywood so I was expecting to pay alot!! There was no cover charge and one drink can run  you about 7 bucks!! You cant beat that in a Hollywood establishment!! One thing...Its a very small place, so get there early this place gets packed fast! You can also make reservations because this place will become standing room only once the bands show up!! Great Place for a Date and Jazz/Blues lovers!!

Erwin Hotel: High Rooftop Lounge (Venice Beach, CA)

This rooftop in Venice is a must see!! I know its cold out there but its worth going to see the beautiful sunset over Venice Beach! So dress warm (they do have heated lamps). It gives Venice a different look you can appreciate if you know what I mean. So try it out. Oh they serve Hot chocolate!! Not too pricey its worth a try!! Definitely a great place to have a cocktail with a beautiful view!! Btw: it opens a 4pm but please check the website for more info.

I am getting all happy on the inside to tell everyone about this spot!! No....havent been there yet but this will be a must go for me! I'm a huge fan of Chef Ramsay and I cant really tell you why!? LOL! I think its the accent and the way he talks so bad to the contestant on his shows!! LOL! Any who..I found out that he is running the London Hotel Resturant! But the best part of the news is the Happy Hour inspired by him!! So if your on a budget like me, you still get a chance to taste the work of Chef of Ramsay of Hells Kitchen!   

LA County Fair (September 3 - October 2) Pomona, CA

The fair is here...THE FAIR IS HERE! Its that time of the year again! Time for fun, food, and rides!! The LA County fair has some really good deals, so there is no excuse for you not to make it to the fair this year! Candela Taco Bar and Lounge LA, CA

Lets go out to Candela Taco Bar and Lounge! I love tacos and a great margarita! So I decided to check this place out. Word has been spreading around town that this is the best place to be in LA for tacos. Well...I dont know about all that but, I will say the place has pretty tasty tacos and worth the money! The decor is nice (Im all about decor! lol). The atmosphere and the service gets two thumbs up! I plan on going back again but next time I will go on Wednesday when the tacos are 1 buck all night....they do have happy hour during the week but I think your best bet is to go on Wednesday and get a bang for your buck!! Angels Piano Bar (Santa monica)

I went to Angels last nite for the first time and I enjoyed it so much! This is a fairly new spot in Santa monica and im sure you will enjoy it! If your into live Jazz and a beautiful lougy atmosphere this is the place to be. The decor is beautiful but the place is small. The smallness of the place dosent take a way from the charm of the place! This is a great place for friends to chat and have a nice cocktail while listening to a live jazz band for free. A very cozy spot for a date! By the way they have a great Happy Hour!  Love, Love, this place!  The live bands, the decor, the food and the Jazzy Old School feel makes this spot the place to be!! I would even invite my parents to Angels! Now that says alot about a place!  Lets go out!!

I dont know about you guys but I love Las Vegas Casinos and there black jack tables! Now you can have that Las Vegas atmosphere in your own back yard!! Its not to far a drive if you live in LA or surronding areas. The atmosphere if so Vegas! I didnt play while I was there because I wanted to see what the place was all about!! So im goin back and I cant wait!! Drink specials DJ  $5 Black Jack  and Happy Hour!!! Drinks on Happy Hour are like 3 bucks! So if you dont gamble at least you can get a drink at the lounge and listen to a pretty good dj   make sure to take a look at there website  btw  $1 charge for each bet on black jack*
